Note: The title of this thread may or may not relate to the first post. Stockings is currently questioning herself to create a pack in the barrens on her own terms.
Morning rose bright and anew, hiss heard from large frame off in the distance, though noise hardly audible. Figure in the distance was soon gone, moving to wards the shadows, relying on them to give it comfort. Body collapsed on top of smooth boulder, head hung off the side, above a dried up stream, it seemed. Skull rotated and glanced at the surroundings, scouring every grain of dirt to every molecule of life. Boredom was stenciled across the wolf's forehead, and it was clear by that zoned-out look expressed on its features.
It lay there in silence until the evening sky grew tired and wandered off, stars shining brightly in the young night, moon glowing it normal, eerie glow. Silver eyes were closed, but opened slowly, recognizing the fact that night had cast its shadow. Wolf's tail flicked, and toes wiggled, limbs being stretched as she made her way off the boulder. Lithe frame shook, ridding of some debris that clung to her thick coat. Obsidian ears were pinned to her skull, fangs shown, a slight yellow color to show her lack of hygiene. Snarls emitted from her jaws, just to see if anyone would respond, checking if there was any threat around that needed to be dealt with. She grinned and chuckled to herself, giving a nod of success. "Everyone runs tail when Stockings shows up on the field."
She took a few steps forward, large paws crushing anything from bones to dried limbs and foliage. Her curiosity rose as she continued to venture, bones catching her attention the most. She had found a longhorn skull, so she thought, and admired it for its devilish horns. Dropping to the ground, she shifted to attempt to place it on her head, but alas, female was much too large for such ornaments. It dropped from her skull, and she stepped on it purposely, crushing it to pieces. Childish inquiry came to a halt as she approached a grove of dead trees, shriveled, limbs hacked off and termites eating away at the bark. Perfect, it seemed, though she knew not what for, and reclined in front of the site, mind left to wonder.
Such a place would be excellent for groupings of wolves to meet. The shape of the area protects the bare inside. Though, a beast like me couldn't stand to be in close quarters for such disgusting wolves. Every monstrosity for itself.
Battle was waged in her own mind, and she remain there, stumped, perhaps needing a secon- third opinion to calm this quarrel. Pity that she knew no one, and could see no one around.
[Bad post. :/]
